You don’t need to have a fully developed idea yet. A photo of the nursery, a few colors, or a description of your family already helps to choose a direction. Together, we decide what to include on the card and what to leave out, so that your son’s name stands out beautifully.

A birth announcement for a boy doesn’t have to be blue. Above all, choose an atmosphere that you love and that fits the illustration.

A design process takes an average of three to six weeks, depending on the design and coordination. Therefore, please get in touch during your pregnancy. We will discuss in advance how to add the final birth details and what the schedule for printing is.

Do you want to have the birth announcement printed yourself, or would you like me to arrange it? Both are possible. You can purchase only the digital design or have me handle the printing as well.
Do you already have a printer in mind? Let me know in advance. With my background as a graphic designer, I can deliver the files in the correct format. Also, let me know if you want matching envelopes and closure stickers, and I will include those wishes.
We first discuss what you need. Then I will provide a suitable quote. This way, you know exactly where you stand before I start the first sketch.
In addition to the illustration, the text deserves attention. Before the final layout, collect the details you want on the card:
A simple sentence like ‘There you are, sweet little boy’ can be enough. Looking for more ideas? View the birth texts and poems. Double-check all names, numbers, and contact details one last time before printing.

Yes. I can incorporate your family, a big brother or sister, and pets into the illustration. When you make your request, let me know who should be on the card and which details are important to you.
The target price for the design and digital files is approximately €300. Because I create every card completely custom, you will receive a quote in advance based on your wishes. Any printing is calculated separately.
Get in touch during your pregnancy. The design process takes an average of three to six weeks. Mention your due date so we can discuss if the schedule fits. Printing and shipping are coordinated separately.
Yes. I send the rough sketch to you and incorporate your feedback. Once the sketch is approved, I develop it digitally in color. You will also get to see that result. Discuss additional wishes in time, so it remains clear what falls within the quote.
No. Green, beige, earth tones, or a colorful palette can also work well. Your taste, the nursery, and the atmosphere of the illustration are the starting point.
Yes, I can deliver the files print-ready. Coordinate the requirements of your printer in advance. You can also have the printing handled by me through my printing partners.
Yes, the design can also be used as a keepsake in the nursery. Indicate in your request if you would like a poster or canvas, so we can discuss the desired format and delivery.
